See my comment above. I have spent many hours in negotiations with Oracle. I might be anthropomorphizing the organisation, but I always had a strong sense that all it's many, many ethical failings were directly inherited from Ellison.
Yeah this is just two guys who run businesses that make shitty products and lots of money. If anything, Ellison could teach Musk how to get rich with the least affect on the general public. At this point Oracle is a minor player in the rear on cloud platform. Holding DB parents and legacy platforms is where the money comes from
I cannot think of a living, non-incarcerated business person that would be able to contribute less to the betterment of Musk.
Sometimes two nasty things become mellow or beneficial when combined, like explosive sodium and corrosive chloride....
... But I doubt this is one of those times. :p
